Looking for a way to nourish your child's body and mind over school breaks? Mad Science vacation camps offer kids ages 6-12 a chance to seize their vacation days through active learning in a safe and fun environment. Our week long program is uniquely designed to bring out your child's inner scientist!
• Hands-on, Inquiry-Based, STEAM Enrichment with indoor & outdoor activities
• Campers build take-home projects daily

Underground Explorers
Kids Learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities! They discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history! What’s more, each class includes a make and take-home project, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
Dates: August 12-16 (Monday-Friday)
Location: Bath Recreation Center, 4 Sheridan Road, Bath, ME
*Please pick up/drop off at the side door facing the big parking lot by the baseball fields. Proceed to the 3rd floor. It will be the 2nd classroom on the left hand side.
Times: 9am - 3pm (Early Drop off 8:45am)
Campers will need to bring lunch, snacks, and water!
Ages/Grades: Ages 6-12

Cost: $320.00 Resident, $330.00 Non-Resident
